He was great pre-surgery, but once a full knee replacement was done, he couldn't be bothered anymore. My knee did not heal well following a full replacement, he told me it probably just didn't work for me and offered no solutions. Pain meds only given for a few days and said I was lucky to get that because he doesn't believe in pain meds, thankfully my primary doctor does and prescribed meds to get me through physical therapy. He also said that because was was young (49), I would be in more pain than an elderly person. Then he told me PT was optional for a full knee replacement. I never should've trusted him since he did not do an mri on my knee, only x-rays, I was just in a lot of pain and was desperate for relief at the time. Every office visit resulted in x-rays being taken that he never reviewed...I know this because I was having an issue of the new knee buckling on me and he rushed to look at the x-rays to make sure it was intact. Seems they order things just to bill insurance.
