I had my fourth open heart surgery with Dr Craig Smith after three prior surgeries with a different surgeon, over the course of an 18 year timeframe. If you need heart surgery i highly recommend Dr Smith. He is an extremely talented surgeon. Moreover, his bedside manners are very admirable!.He has the demeanor of a “regular guy”, you’d never know he operated on the president of the United States unless someone told you. Rather than having surgery at Walter Reed, the president chose Dr Smith & traveled to NYC. I can’t say enough good things about him. My personal feeling is; heart surgery with a different heart surgeon can cost you your life. Choose wisely, this man is an amazing lifesaver!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
