I am a phlebotomist at a children's hospital. A 10 year old kicked me in the back. This patient was in martial arts classes. This was a hard, painfull kick. Cody prescribed me muscle relaxers and told me not to Twist,stoop or bend while working. Quite impossible while drawing blood on children. Also the muscle relaxers I could not take at work. I was in much pain and missed two days of work, working one day inbetween because there is only two of us in this lab and when one of us is gone its difficult not only for my lab partner and I, but also our patients. Cody would not agree that my time off work should be paid, instead I had to use my vacation time. In my 2 appointments with him, he was dismissive, uncaring and unreasonable as to what my job requires. Do not see this doctor. He does not care about your situation.
