I would not recommend this doctor for pediatric emergency care. He lacks the initiative, empathy, attention to detail, and bedside manner needed to build trust with the parent/caregiver and ensure a proper diagnosis and the child’s overall wellbeing. We left with unresolved symptoms that required a return ER visit less than 18 hours later, and paperwork didn’t include any instructions about my primary concern. He answered my questions by poking his head through the doorway instead of entering the room. If you are assigned this doctor, I recommend taking your own thorough notes and carefully reviewing your discharge paperwork for accuracy prior to leaving.
