I had a telehealth call on a Friday from Dr. Lam from hospital after he received an urgent referral from my pulmonologist. He had a full schedule due to getting ready for vacation. Yet he made time to talk with me, pulled up test results, and showed illustrations of what he was talking about. He said he would try to schedule an endoscopy with needle biopsy on Monday and his assistant would call me Monday morning and that I shouldn’t eat or drink anything since I might be able to get the procedure. Twenty minutes later he personally called me and had set the procedure up himself. He communicated excellently throughout the entire process, including the day of procedure, performed the procedure, and followed up once biopsy results were available. I can’t say enough about the level of care that Dr. Lam provided.
