Patient Reviews

Dr. Farrell was abrupt, rude and unwilling to order an MRI of my ankle, even though I had 4 fractures and was in extreme pain after I was hit by a truck while riding my bicycle. Another doctor ordered the MRI and found 2 torn ligaments in my ankle. Dr. Farrell also refused to order an MRI of my shoulder and when another doctor ordered an MRI, he found necrosis (dead bone) in my shoulder. Eventually I will need a total shoulder replacement and Dr. Farrell did not diagnose me properly and delayed my recovery.During my first visit, he treated me as though I was only interested in prescription pain medication and he told he would not give me prescription pain medications. He did not listen to my symptoms and he treated me in a very non-professional way. He did not properly diagnose the 8 fractures and 2 torn ligaments and completely missed the shoulder necrosis. He would not allow me to ask any questions until he completed his exam and then he rushed me.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
