I was referred to Dr. Glazer by my physician to look at a mole near my neck for possible cancer. They are both in the Franciscan network. His Chesterton office is in a "health center" located in a subdivision with dumpsters kitty corner. A sign said "masks required" but few staff wore them. One person in an exam room got through part of my meds list. She surprised me taking a facial photo with my mask on. The doctor came in with a young woman who was not introduced. I would not recognize the doctor from any of his posted pictures. I moved a shirt collar so he could see the mole. He offered no opinion and said I could make another appointment in January to have it scraped. I do not know if he can treat it if it proves cancerous. The place opened at 8 and a number of patients had left by 8:10. It would be hard to have a more cursory appointment except for a shot. "It's up to you to decide" was repeated by each staff person that interacted with me.
