On first meeting my 5 year old son after an injury, Carla Nelson said directly to him 'at least your finger isn't all the way off.' Very bad tableside especially for a pediatrician. Unfortunately the only one there while we were or I would have requested a diffrent doctor. After my son recieved his 3 stitches (that part was a nightmare) she said they were the hardest stitches in her career (there again were 3 and on his pinky). Upon coming back home to a diffrent state, we had to do a standard follow up to remove his 3 stitches. Im currently writing this sitting here at a refered Orthopedic surgeon after being here 4 hours and them saying the stitches were poorly done and my son won't let them remove them without pain.
