New patient with Dr Cooper and Austin Brain & Spine. First appointment was an amazing experience. I was able to get an appointment within a week of the referral. The person making the appointment was knowledgeable about my diagnosis and recommended Dr Cooper based on my experience and the diagnostic information, to find that this was his specialty and that while other doctors would be knowledgeable he would be able to provide an expert opinion. I an so happy that I did. He was kind and patient while I went through an exhaustive medical history and he was able to pull up the scans with me to over what he saw and what he believed would be the best way to approach further diagnostic testing and help alleviate my anxiety about the process and potential diagnostic outcomes and different differential diagnosis’ could be. So excited to have Dr Cooper on my side during this scary time in my life, because I feel like with him as my doctor we will get to the bottom of whats happening!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
