Patient Reviews

I saw Dr. Candela twice. The first time, he was 27 minutes late. I didn’t say anything, but the appointment itself lasted only about 10 minutes. He rushed through it, didn’t address all my concerns, and left me with an assistant. The second time, he was 30 minutes late again. I asked why he was always so late. Instead of apologizing right away, he defended himself by saying that it's normal for patients to wait that long. He did eventually apologize, but only after I pointed out that everyone has a job, and consistently making patients wait this long for a rushed 10-minute appointment is not acceptable. As a doctor, he should have shown more understanding and empathy.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
