We traveled an hour and a half for this visit, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Throughout the hour-long appointment, Dr. Ross talked in circles and performed only a five-minute evaluation of my son. He dismissed our concerns regarding my son’s motor skills and physical struggles with inappropriate generalizations, suggesting that athletic children may not be as smart while smart children are often clumsy. He claimed that "everyone is on the spectrum," a sentiment that previously led to a late diagnosis for my son when used by school staff. Furthermore, he dismissed my son’s tachycardia & fainting spells as symptoms of puberty without considering any other causes. Having a child with invisible disabilities, it was incredibly frustrating to have our concerns dismissed so completely. Dr. Ross eventually agreed to order an MRI at our insistence, we have received those results online. After 2 months, he still has not called with results. We are seeing another neurologist
