Do not see this doctor! I had a consultation with the physician regarding an oral medication prescribed and its interaction with a current prescription. I explained that I have taken it before without incident and as a patient, was requesting the same treatment. She refused stating I should use the alternative being a cream. I explained that the cream does not work for me which is why I needed the original oral medication that was prescribed. She said my problem wasn’t urgent and I should speak to a pcp the following day, but it should be noted that she’s a pcp. She delayed my treatment and left me in pain and discomfort without offering a solution. When I spoke to another pcp he said that the cream was not effective and all I had to do was half the dose of my established medication and take the oral pill that was originally prescribed. It’s appalling that Dr. Shrivastava did not offer this as a simple solution. She does not care about her patients.
