I do not recommend going to Dr. Pecora. I was with him for two years and he had poor bed side manner. I felt dismissed at every visit to the point I started having anxiety knowing when I had to go in for a visit. I don't think he gave my case (sarcoma) enough attention. He would come into the exam room and start reading his notes in front of me which seemed like the first time he had looked at them, couldn't remember if he gave me certain medications/treatments and then make a decision in that moment. It felt very poorly thought out. It got to the point where I did not trust him and couldn't take the anxiety anymore. Although Pecora's staff was pleasant, I do not recommend going to him for Sarcoma which has to be so well thought out.
