Dr. Jones himself is a good doctor, and you will be in good hands with him. His staff is another story entirely. Kayla (spelling?) has been consistently rude and handled our concerns in a dismissive, unprofessional way.Our daughter had a 102° fever, a positive strep test, and every classic symptom. I called at 8am and was told I’d get a call back. That never happened. After waiting two and a half hours, we called again and were told we still had to come in despite already confirming strep, and that Dr. Jones couldn’t see her, even though she’s an established patient. Instead, we were offered a 2pm appointment with an NP.If an in-person visit was required, say that at 8am. Don’t leave a sick kid waiting for hours only to come back with a worse answer. That is unacceptable. We were seen immediately by another doctor and treated with professionalism and respect. Because of this, we’re moving our entire family to that practice and will not be returning to Cullman Regional.
