Dr. Ami Belmont, MD

After weeks of waiting for an appointment and feeling discouraged with my health symptoms that affect my everyday life, I left my appointment feeling worse. I finally present all of my tests and journals to Dr. Belmont but she made me feel unheard, dismissed and rushed. She even had the audacity to say 'I have other patients waiting'. In the room I was clearly frustrated to the point of tears and she simply did not seem to care to dig deeper into any reason of why I am having the symptoms I am having. Instead she suggested following up with my dermatologist (who sent me to her), follow up with allergy testing, trying nose spray and using products without fragrance (currently using none due to my symptoms). She talked in circles, made no plan of attack. I was looking for someone to say we'll figure this out but left hurt and angry. I hope this resonates with Dr. Belmont and moving forward she'll be a better doctor.
