Dr. Alex Davis, MD

My awful experience was with Dr Davis. RUN from this Dr. If I could give him negative stars I would. I just was released today from a new doctor that was able to fix the absolute mess he made of my ankle. Dr Davis started on my surgeries in Dec of 2023. That is THREE years and SEVEN months of mine and my families lives being absolutely turned upside down. I had 4 different surgeries with him all were fails. His MA even forgot to schedule one of my surgeries and I was making it the morning of. This second surgery led to to having MRSA which I found out about through the patient portal, my foot and ankle was swollen and red. We went to the emergency room where I got my FIRST iv antibiotics. I needed an infectious disease Dr. When I went back to dr Davis after that ER visit now with a port in my arm for Iv antibiotics THREE times a day for 6 months. After the 4th procedure that didn’t work he sent me to wound care. I ALMOST LOST MY LEG because of his “work”. My wound care team actually had to have the conversation with me about a prosthetic. I have the voicemail where he tells me he’s stepping back and gonna watch from afar! I was in wound care for 6 months. My wound care team finally found an awesome doctor who was willing to take the case and actually fix what Dr Davis did to me. Literally today he just released me w no restrictions after 2.7 years of a nightmare. RUN away as fast as you can. This is the short version of my experience with Dr Davis .

Dr. Davis seems very concerned about my pain and the causes. He explains everything where I can understand and he is straightforward about ways that will help and ways that won’t. I like bring his patient far more than the previous doctor who performed my original foot surgery at a competitive orthopedic practice in the Woodlands.
