Came in 9 mos preg for decreased fetal movement, she blamed me for waiting after office hours to call them. I didn’t know my baby should follow her schedule? She was very patronizing, spoke in a cartoonish voice, repeatedly said she had 20 years experience and was dismissive to a very helpful resident. I truly hated every moment she was speaking to me. I was uncomfortable on a gurney while she was telling me how I could get my baby to move. I know my baby’s movements after 9 months and how to get him to move, that was ridiculous. She also discouraged me from doing additional tests, and when I pushed back she would not stop speaking over me about her 20 yrs experience! I’ve heard docs have bad bedside manner but this was something else, I thought someone was playing a practical joke on me.
