Maybe you can tell a lot about a Doctor by closely observing his nursing staff. If so, this Doctor is presiding over a very happy bunch of dedicated medical professionals. They are content, fulfilled, and very polite to the public. There is a very good chance that they perceive substance in this man. I took my time writing this review, justifiably because within the past decade I had gone through three previous urologists. Their names shall not be mentioned here but they were associated with: Hahnemann, Jefferson, and MidLantic Urology. I was far less than satisfied, even though my first impressions, buoyed by stupidly quick positive reviews, turned out to be, ultimately, inaccurate. The past five months have been more than trying in my life: I am 75, have Parkinson's, and, starting in June 2025, was unable to pee without a catheter. (I went through 13 of them since then.) Then I met Dr Adam Metwalli and after 30 seconds of speaking with him, I felt I had died and gone to heaven. My initial feelings accomplished something here and did not deteriorate with time. At the end of September he performed a Robotic Simple Prostatectomy on me and, as a result, gave me back my life by cutting away the huge inner core of the prostate which was strangling my urethra. But that is only the tangible stuff which came after. Back to our initial encounter: By late summer I had finally met someone who thought like I did (pragmatically, with intellect) and there was never a time when our personalities did not coalesce and mesh. Dr Metwalli made up for the lost time I had spent with previous urologists. He has learned his textbooks well but, unlike others, regards his sense of common sense to be just as important, just as valid. His staff personifies and confirms his positive demeanor. - David Lyga

Dr. Metwalli went above and beyond in helping me feel comfortable and safe. His confidence in his work and assurance that everything will be ok gave me the peace that I needed to go through with my surgery. If I could give 1000 stars I would. Definitely recommend.
