Deanne Manansala, NP

I literally teared up after leaving her office not because I was sad, but because I was elated after getting treated by her after receiving such horrible initial treatment from a primary care provider issued to me through the Medi-Cal system. I have always been private pay insurance and having to be on MediCal has been traumatic for so many reasons but Deanne was a light in the storm. She had a great personality, she listened, responded to my information and it seemed important to her that we move forward with what I was comfortable with. I was so grateful to her. I know they inundate medical staff with loads that are impossible for one human, that said and knowing I am that need to know patient, I appreciate that she accommodated me because medical care is to me as much about educating the patient as it is about the actual medical treatment itself. Others should take a lesson from Deanne on how to treat those of us who are already in the most vulnerable of positions being a patient.
