Dentist was skilled and professional. I liked her a lot and respected her assessment / treatment plan. However, the temporary dental hygienist they hired reeked of body odor. The diagnostic and treatment equipment was new and impressive, but the office environment was dingy and not entirely clean/orderly. We didn't find out that they would not accept the UHC AARP Dental Discount plan until after we arrived. That was the reason we were directed to this Silver Springs, FL dentist - she was listed as a provider in the UHC AARP database. That was a major disappointment as the first impression because they could have screened our insurance and disclosed this fact prior to scheduling the appt. They also rescheduled the appt twice and were going to reschedule it a third time but we told them we were leaving for the summer. That's when they made plans to bring in a temp. I'm 65 yo and have been to countless dental practices over the yrs. Smile Design was not the worst but definitely not best.
