I switched back to Prohealth after needing to switch to Middlesex during pandemic. A lot of what has happened in medicine since COVID has been a dehumanizing experience. This is not the fault of the beleaguered unstaffed medical professionals. This doctor recognized a bureaucratic nuisance that would have had me going to the office to get a referral signed while I am being treated with very strong antibiotics and opioids. Coming in would have put my safety at risk. I expect most doctors these days to treat patients like potential risks. Ashley is the first doctor I’ve found since COVID who makes me feel human and not like some sort of maniac. I cannot express how grateful I am. I highly recommend MacManus as well as Dr. Sneed who is also. Their entire practice is beginning to make me feel safe with medicine again after having been part of a scandal where nurses were stealing fentanyl and replacing it with saline. Today is the first time I have not loathed all doctors in years.
