First appointment she called 1 1/2 hours late and spent 10 minutes asking the same questions I filled out for intake then ended the visit. Second appointment she confirmed then cancelled, third appointment she no-showed. This isn't a provider who can support patients if she can't be reliable in the first place.

It is so unfortunate that the mental healthcare field is plagued with individuals that have empathy burnout, or never really cared in the first place, and they are in control of a person’s mental wellbeing. It is so sad that this person has a hard time being simply friendly. If you have reached this individual, and you have had subpar care, please know that not everyone is like Andritta wright Burnett. There are people out there in this field that do care, and they are not just drug peddlers. They will care about you and your family, and keeping your mental health intact. Keep looking, even though this person can’t smile when first meeting you. Keep looking even after this office changes the appointment time without letting you know. There are nurse practitioners who will help you with your depression and intrusive thoughts, even though this very unfriendly person, does not. This person’s darkness, does not showcase the brightness that is happening in the mental health field. Don’t give up, it can get better despite people like this one.
